The Farmer's Ally, The Community's Champion: Anthony Jolly

Tony Jolly isn't just a coffee entrepreneur; he is a bridge builder. For over a decade, he has mastered the art of moving capital directly to the source of value—first in Ethiopian coffee fields, and now in the heart of South LA.

From a Denver Shed to a Global Importer

A self-taught roaster, Tony's passion led him to Ethiopia, where he didn't just source coffee—he built relationships. He lived and worked alongside farmers, learning the entire process and ensuring they earned premium prices for their crops.

Denver to Ethiopia

He became one of the first Black independent coffee importers, breaking barriers in a homogenous industry. His groundbreaking work co-producing Karkarsa Coffee from a woman-owned farm was a landmark achievement, bringing an untold story and unparalleled quality directly to the U.S. market.

The Mission Comes Home to Leimert Park

Tony saw the same untapped potential in South LA that he saw in Ethiopian coffee lands. In 2018, he opened Hot & Cool Café, transforming a food desert into a community hub. This led to the creation of Crenshaw Coffee Co. and, ultimately, the Hot and Cool Foundation.

Why Tony is the Right Steward for Your Investment?

Tony’s entire career is a model of direct, value-driven investment. He has a proven track record of building self-sustaining engines for wealth creation.

He Moves Capital with Purpose: Just as he moved money directly to Ethiopian farmers, he now channels opportunity directly into his community.

He Builds Pipelines, Not Just Programs: The Foundation’s Workforce Development Program trains baristas, places them in jobs, and cultivates entrepreneurs who can own and operate their own Crenshaw Coffee Co. carts.

He Fosters Community Ecosystems: The work continues at the rebranded ORA café, a vibrant incubator and retail space run by his wife and partner, Tina Amin, solidifying their family’s commitment to fueling local creativity and ownership.

Funding Tony Jolly means investing in a proven blueprint for community transformation.
